FC Lyubimetz 2007 (Bulgarian: ФК Любимец 2007) is a Bulgarian association football club based in the town of Lyubimets, Bulgaria, which currently competes in the East B PFG, the second division of Bulgarian football.[1]

The club's biggest success came in 2008, when the team finished in the second place in the Bulgarian South-East V AFG, prior promoting to the East B PFG. The club's home ground is the local Municipal Stadium in Lyubimets, which has a overall capacity of 5,000 seats.

History

FC Lyubimetz was founded in 1921 as FC Maritsa. In 1947 the club had already been renamed FC Strela. The team finally became known as Lyubimetz 2007 in 2007-08 season.

Until 2008, Lyubimetz participated in either the third or the fourth amateurs divisions, but in 2007-08 the team were promoted for the first time to second division. In the first season in professional football, the club finished in 7th place.
